Posted Fri, 02/07/2010 - 16:52 by Gidon@AccountsPortal

For Sales and Purchases, it is now possible to save transactions in a Draft status. This might come in handy if you are preparing quotes, defining a business process which requires a pre-approval stage or just need a break midway through entering a lengthy invoice or credit note.

Use the the new dropdown menu integrated into the Save button to choose the Save Draft option.

Transactions saved in this status are not included in Customer statements and do not have any impact on your financial results. When appropriate, find the transaction in the Draft tab and click on the transaction link to edit the saved draft item. At this point you can Save Draft again or convert into a final invoice/credit note by clicking the Save option.

To do this, click on your organisation's name in the Settings tab, and then go to the PDF Options tab. From there, you can specify the headings that you you wish to use.
